(Aka, what’s filling up the inspiration jar)
1. Gouache blobs on recycled envelopes
I’ve been testing colours on scrap mail and it’s oddly satisfying — like tiny abstract postcards to myself.
2. Studio soundtrack
On repeat: Koresma, Lianne La Havas, and rainy café ambience. Plus the occasional nostalgic 90s pop because… balance.
3. Paper scraps in citrus colours
Leftovers from a recent kids’ workshop turned into a spontaneous collage session. Neon orange and pale lemon forever.
4. Collaboration
Working on new projects is fun especially when it is a colaboration
5. Quote I scribbled on a post-it:
“Play is the work of the child. Art is the play of the adult.”
6. A book I keep dipping into:
“Show Your Work” by Austin Kleon — still one of the best for creative motivation.
