What if we could bottle this moment?

When I was a kid, I’d come home with pockets full of treasures — a feather I’d found, a scrap of paper I’d drawn on, a stone that had rolled into a puddle. My daughters are just the same. Once, an entire family of snails marched out of a pocket, politely demanding to be returned to the garden.

These weren’t just things. They were stories. Moments gathered, held tight, and carried home.

It made me wonder — what if we didn’t just collect these memories (not the snails!), but did something with them? What if we could turn them into something we could hold, display, revisit?

That’s where Handmade Moments began. It isn’t just a workshop. It’s two hours of slowed-down time. Two hearts carving out space for just being together—no screens, no lists, no hurry. Just a place where memories get made — and made into something.

What Handmade Moments Is

A creative workshop designed for one parent and one child (age 7+)

Together, you’ll co-create a beautiful keepsake — a Memory Jar to hold future moments, and a Promise Pocket for dreams you’ve yet to make.

You’ll also craft a special memory from the day to place inside — a small reminder of time well spent.

What’s Included

  • A shared creative activity (no experience needed!)
  • Thoughtful prompts to spark connection and conversation
  • All materials provided — just bring yourselves
  • You’ll leave with something handmade, heartfelt, and completely unique to you both.

Why it matters

  • Connection over perfection – We’re not trying to make something Pinterest-perfect. We’re making space for presence.
  • A tangible reminder – So often we treasure the memory. But what if we could hold it too?
  • Emotional anchoring – We’ll be there, gently guiding a little. A lifestyle coach will hold the energy—not to “coach”, just to help hold the space.

What to expect

  • A cozy, small-group atmosphere (just one parent + one child per pair)
  • A simple, soulful craft — from a Pocket Promise to a Jar of Us that you can fill with moments and sensory memories
  • Prompts that crack open the conversation — soft, brave, hopeful
  • Fully supplied materials — just bring your presence
